Tucked into a quiet neighborhood at the base of a mountain, this Aspen residence has the rare quality of a truly private retreat in an otherwise town setting. The design of the home is inspired by the dense forest surroundings with dark, earthy tones for cladding. Conversely, the interior adopts a bright and airy material palette with crisp detailing of stone and wood throughout. A monumental glass wall at the second story lines the primary circulation route and admits views of the forest canopy and Shadow Mountain’s peak.
